Masterclass Agenda:
Welcome & Foundations
Why productivity systems fail.
GTD philosophy in plain English: your brain is for having ideas, not storing them.
Quick overview of the two models: Workflow (5 stages) + Natural Planning Model (5 steps).
Capture: Stop Relying on Memory
Capture everything into a trusted system.
Hands-on setup: Notes apps, email-to-task, voice memos.
Immediate capture exercise: everyone gets at least 5 things out of their head.
Clarify & Organize: From Chaos to Order
What’s a task, what’s a project, and what goes to Someday/Maybe.
Turning “stuff” into next actions.
Demo: Email → task → next action.
Parking lot list setup.
Initiating the Right Projects with the Natural Planning Model
Purpose & Principles – Why does this project matter? (Tech tool: digital notes/journals)
Vision of Outcome – What does “done” look like? (Exercise: write the headline of success in Notes or Google Doc)
Brainstorming – Rapid idea dump. (Exercise: use digital whiteboard, Notes, or task app with sub-tasks)
Organizing – Put ideas in sequence and structure. (Demo: using task app to group & tag)
Next Actions – What’s the very next physical step? (Add to task manager or calendar)
Hands-on Exercise: Participants take one project idea and run it fully through the Natural Planning Model in real time.
Reflect & Review: Staying on Top
Weekly Review = glue that holds it all together.
Using digital reminders and dashboards for regular reflection.
Setting up recurring prompts in calendar/tasks to keep the system alive.
Engage: Doing with Clarity
Choosing tasks with confidence: context, time, energy, priority.
Using Focus Mode, Pomodoro, and timeboxing in their own devices.
Exercise: Choose your top 3 “next actions” for tomorrow.
